pine cove projects

I like to say that I received my Masters in Design at Pine Cove. Since design has always been my passion, I continually found myself taking on architecture and interior design projects throughout our 26 years with Pine Cove.

In 1995, Pine Cove had 3 camps. The Woods (family camp), The Towers (elementary camp), and the Ranch (6th-12th) camp. In 2021, we now have 12 physical properties, 6 in Tyler, Texas, 4 in Columbus, Texas, 1 in South Carolina, and 1 in Georgia.  When you host 40,000 people in a 3 month period, it requires a lot of beds. And beds require cabins to house those beds. Camps require dining halls to feed people and cool meeting rooms and coffee shops for people to hang out in. Pine Cove currently manages over 1,500,000 sq. ft. of building space, and I have been fortunate enough to be able to design and decorate many of these buildings.

These projects are much different from a residential home. However, my motivation is the same. I seek to create spaces that help people thrive and inspire them to connect with others in meaningful ways. My role at camp uniquely positioned me to know what was needed in these spaces to bless families and provide exactly what is needed for a restful, impactful week. These pictures are a sampling of the buildings I have designed for Pine Cove over the years. I hope as you look through them, you are inspired to hop onto www.pinecove.com to register your child for youth camp, or even better, to register your entire family to attend a week of life-changing family camp. It will be the best investment you ever make.
