living well counseling center

I am a fan of counseling. I have benefitted from some amazingly wise individuals helping me see life a little more clearly. That is why I was ecstatic when several talented counselors purchased 10 acres in Tyler to open Living Well.

I was asked to design the director’s office. This was an especially meaningful project for me as I considered the many people who would enter this space in pain and confusion looking for hope. It was this perspective that drove my design decisions. I wanted to create a space that was comforting. I wanted the textures to be soft and interesting. My hope was that each person upon entering would feel safe and welcomed.

I believe we achieved what we set out to do. Many lives have already been changed in this room. My client receives compliments daily on how welcoming her office feels- not to mention how motivating it is to go to work every day in a space you love!
